When it comes to facial fixes, Botox and Juvederm are two of the hottest ticket items today. Though they are used for similar purposes they are two completely different products. Before you make the decision to use one over the other, here’s a little background info on each one and how they compare.

Juvederm
WHAT IS IT: Juvederm is an injectable gel filler that brings back volume and erases the look of lines by replacing hyaluronic acid (HA) that has been lost in the skin. It also has lidocaine to make the injection more comfortable. It is created using a process called HYLACROSS™ which is what gives Juvederm its ultra smooth texture and helps it retain its structure so the results last longer. Juvederm is injected into the deeper, dermal layer of the skin.
